About

I currently work as a data scientist. Previously I went to National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Facebook junior Research, Toyota self-driving. Besides data science and data storytelling, I also like contemporary art and travelling. Having lived in India, United Arab Emirates and Singapore, I understand English and Hindi. I have given talks and workshops such as Introduction To Vision Transformer at IIM Ahmedabad, how we can teach music to an AI at The Calcutta School of Music.

AI Researcher.

My long-term goal is to understand intelligence; understanding its underlying principles would give us access to artificial intelligence (AI), and I believe that learning algorithms are essential in this quest. Learning algorithms could give computers the ability to capture operational knowledge (not necessarily in symbolic / verbal form) from examples.

My expertise lies in natural language processing (NLP), specifically in the areas of formal and computational models of syntax and other levels of linguistic representation, and in modeling how people use language to achieve communicative goals. I have an active interest in both theoretical issues and practical applications.

Researchs

As a data scientist, I translate data into valuable and comprehensible insights. My goal is to improve results, make the right decisions and save costs. My research includes continual lifelong learning, optimization algorithms for deep neural networks, sparse modeling and probabilistic inference, dialog generation, biologically plausible reinforcement learning, and dynamical systems approaches to brain imaging analysis.
